What is a phone skin?
A skin is a thin, printed adhesive film, about 0.2 mm, cut precisely to the back and edges of a specific phone model. It covers the glass or metal back, leaves the camera, buttons and ports free, and gives the phone a new surface: a texture, a pattern, an artwork.
It is not a sticker from a roll. The cut follows the exact outline of your model, and the material is made to stretch slightly over curved edges and to come off later without leaving residue.
Skin or case?
A case protects against drops; a skin protects against scratches and daily wear while keeping the phone as thin and light as it was designed. Many people use both: the skin changes the look, the case stays on for the commute and comes off at home.
What a skin does better: no bulk, no yellowing after a few months, no interference with wireless charging, and a design that is yours rather than one of five colours in a shop. What it does not do: it will not save a phone from a two-metre fall onto concrete.

The catalogue is built with artists and partners rather than stock clip-art, and we show every design on real-looking renders so you know what you get. 1% for carbon removal
Laminarte is part of Stripe Climate. One percent of every payment we receive goes to permanent carbon removal projects selected and audited by Stripe's climate team, such as direct air capture and enhanced mineral weathering. It is a commitment that runs automatically on every order, not a campaign.
1% for the Costa Rican Red Cross
A second one percent of all revenue goes to the Cruz Roja Costarricense, the volunteer organisation that answers emergencies on roads, beaches and mountains across the country. We transfer the contribution monthly and publish the amount in our newsletter.
