How it works
1/4Send us your work
A link to your portfolio is enough to start. If it fits, we ask for print files for the designs you want to sell.
2/4We test-print it
We check each file against the sheet and the camera zone, print a sample, and only list designs that look great on a real phone.
3/4Your own section in the shop
Your designs get a featured section with your name, a referral link and a promo code you can share with your audience.
4/4You earn on every sale
70 % of the net goes to you. You see sales, views and what you are owed in real time, and we pay out monthly.
The deal, in plain words
Simple and the same for everyone: no fees, no exclusivity, no minimums.
70 / 30 after expenses
From each sale we take off the production and shipping cost: the sheet, the cut, the packaging and Correos, which comes to roughly 50 % of the price. Of what is left, 70 % is yours and 30 % stays with Laminarte to run the shop, payments and support.
If a customer uses a promo code, the discount comes off the price first, so both sides share it.
You keep your rights
You give Laminarte a non-exclusive licence to print and sell your designs on phone skins. You can sell the same art anywhere else, and you can withdraw a design at any time with 30 days' notice. We never resell or sublicense your files.
Bring your audience, earn more
Every artist gets a referral link and a promo code. Sales that come through them are credited to you on top of the standard split, so the people who follow you buy from your section and you see it in your numbers.
Monthly statement and payout
At the start of each month you get a statement with every sale, the net and your share, and we transfer it by SINPE Móvil or bank transfer in Costa Rica. No minimum balance.
What you could make
Move the sliders. The example assumes 50 % of the price goes to production and shipping and that you get 70 % of the rest.
- ₡7,900 per skin, minus about 50 % for production and shipping, leaves ₡3,950.
- 70 % of that is yours: ₡2,765 per skin.
- At 1 per day that is about 30 × 1 skins a month.
An illustration, not a promise: sales depend on the designs and on how you share them. Amounts are before your own taxes.
What sells well
- Bold, clean compositions that read at arm's length: patterns, flat illustration, strong photography.
- Nothing important in the top third: that is where the camera cut-out goes on most phones.
- Original work only. No logos, brands, team crests or characters you do not own.
- Series of 3 to 6 designs in one style do better than single pieces.
File specs
- 126 × 196 mm including 3 mm bleed (trim 120 × 190 mm), portrait.
- 300 dpi PNG or TIFF, sRGB, no text or watermark.
- Background or pattern runs to every edge; the skin is cut from this sheet for each phone.
- We can also work from a vector file or a larger artwork and crop it with you.
